Realisation
of new air-conditioning plant for Grugliasco store

The project involved redefining the ground floor layout of the IKEA
store. The air-conditioning plant was modified as part of a reorganisation
of the self-service, client assistance and warehouse zones inside
the store. A new housing ridge was built, composed of galvanised sheet-iron
canalisations complete with registers; other work included adjustments
to the air treatment unit, modifications to the electrical panel,
plant calibration and installation of an inertial reservoir for cooled
water.
Teatro Sociale di Alba
Installation of new heating plant

In 1996 Ceresa won a public competition to build the heating and ventilation
plant for the Teatro Sociale di Alba, as part of a general renovation
plan. The 2-year project involved engineering and installing the water
cooling plant, distribution system, and fan coil cooling terminals.
A remote operation system was installed to allow computer management
of the technological plants, theatre lighting and fire prevention
system. Maximum care was taken to ensure a high comfort standard and
low noise level within the theatre.

New automatised warehouse for garment storage
Cocconato (At)The project required installation
of heating, air-conditioning, remote operation and fire-extinguishing
plants.
Heating plant: hot water production plant using boilers with
1,200 kW potential for distribution to various departments and supply
of four peripheral sub-units, regulation units and pressure units.
A multi-level distribution system was built to supply floor and ceiling
radiator panels, air handling units, radiant strips, fan convectors,
radiators and central air-treatment unit.
Fire-fighting system: coverage of entire warehouse area with
water sprinkler system comprising 6,000 sprinkler heads.
Remote operation system: for hot water plant and heating sub-units
with distribution to various departments.
COMAU (ex Bertolamet)
New air-conditioning and fire prevention plant
Torino
The project required installation of new climate-control and fire
prevention plants for the offices in the Corso Unione Sovietica offices.
Air-conditioning plant: installation of new supply lines with
convection ventilators, heat exchanger with 330,000 kcal/h potential,
150,000 frig/h cooling unit, and new electrical plant.
Fire-fighting system: modification of existing sprinkler system
and fitting of new fire hose housings.

New heating, air-handling and fire-fighting plant
Torino
The project required installation of new heating, air-handling and
fire-fighting systems as part of the plan to transform the 19th century
workshops of the former arsenal into an elegant modern commercial
gallery.
Heating plant: engineering of a new plant with installation
of a 1,200 kW condensing unit and distribution system supplying various
shops. Fitting of plants in individual shops with floor-level radiator
tubes with a total length of 32,000 linear metres.
Air-handling plant: Realisation of stale air extraction plants
for commercial units.
Fire-fighting system: installation of above-ground hydrants
and external Uni 45 boxes.
Sandretto Industrie
New heating and regulation plant
Collegno (To)
The project involved engineering and building new heating, regulation
and infrastructural systems inside the Collegno factory to renovate
the distribution network and obsolete heating plant.
Heating plant: Installation of a new 5,600 kW heating plant
and a pumping station composed of ten electrical pumps for distribution
to buildings and offices. Installation of a distribution network and
ceiling-mounted heating units for work space heating.
Regulation plant: circulation pumps and centralised unit for
sequence and temperature regulation.
AEM Torino
New air-conditioning plant for new Call Center in Via Bertola
Torino
The project required building the heating plant for the new call center,
as part of a renovation project for AEM's head offices in Via Bertola
48.
Climate-control plant: Realisation of a air-conditioning and air-handling
new plants with fan convectors and “4 tube” distribution. The plant
makes it possible to respond immediately to temperature changes due
to changing sun exposure of the center throughout the day. The system
is controlled and regulated by a microprocessor unit interfaced with
the central AEM system. |
